Interested in joining asif?
Since Fall 2020, Auburn’s Student Investment Fund has been incorporated into the Financial Management Association to form the Integrated Financial Leadership Program (IFLP). We are very proud to now have a curriculum associated with the Fund. Students now take ASIF I in the fall, led by Kevin Gamble of the Retirement Systems of Alabama, and ASIF II the following spring, led by financial modeling professor Dr. Albert Wang, receiving 3 hours of course credit for both. In order to be enrolled in ASIF I, students must be accepted into FMA and complete both the new member training and the Training the Street course offered exclusively to FMA students (a FINC 4970 elective). Completing this sequence offers students practical, hands-on experience not offered through the typical finance curriculum, as well as 9 hours of course credit.
With that being said, the first step to joining the Fund is becoming an FMA member.
